Job Summary



Aerotek's client is looking for a Lead Project Planner in Brisbane. This global transportation leader is looking to add a Project Planner to assist on a major infrastructure project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the set-up and initial maintenance for the planning platform that will capture multiple projects and sites across the country. This is a 6 month contract and is a great opportunity for out-come oriented candidates.

Set-up and initial maintenance of this planning platform
The Lead planner is responsible for the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of all resource assignments across the business.
Planning will be structured and integrated in accordance with global planning process and framework.
Responsible for challenging all inputs from all parties.
Tracks and reports progress against the baseline schedule and continuously monitors risks and opportunities and may develop scenarios, mitigation or back-up plans if required.
The Lead Planner supports the KPI’s as required by the project.
Gatekeeper of project charge codes and labour spending.
S/he is responsible for processing requests, maintaining project forecasts, monitoring actuals, leveling of resource assignments, and reporting demand for the various functions within their scope.
S/he provides the knowledge and the tools to plan the project’s labour requirements for each scope of work and all related deliverable to meet the needs of the projects.


Skills Preferred/Required:
-8+ years experience within Project Planning
-Proficient user in Primavera system is required
-Experience working on large scale transportation projects highly preferred.
-Local to Brisbane
